Covid Mask, Uncovering A Smile

Cleveland, OH (The B) – In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the choice of staying at home or the wearing of masks in public have become commonplace.  Sometimes laughter is the best medicine, so an Ohio radio personality has decided to serve up a good dose of musical medicine in his latest song.

Akron native Dale Officer has uncovered his release of ‘Covid Mask’ to fill a lighter side void.  According to Officer, “I think we all could use a good laugh right about now.”

Officer got his start in broadcasting at the Ohio Media School in 1993. He is a two-time award-winner for radio production and station imaging and was a nominee for producing the best station promo in 1999.  No stranger to writing song parodies, Officer has had a few of which have achieved extensive airplay and requests at numerous radio stations around the Cleveland/Akron market and surrounding areas.

He has enjoyed a 25-year radio career as an on-air talent, morning show producer, announcer/actor, and voice talent.  His latest effort, ‘Covid Mask’ looks to be a winner.
